• Developing show ideas from concept to screen 

• Sourcing contributors across 4 genres – current affairs, comedy, music, arts n events (working with labels, PR and agents in music and comedy)

• Working closely with contributors to build rapport and trust to enable strong storylines

• Booking locations

• Working closely with the show Producer and Executive Producer to ensure the show’s remit is adhered to throughout production

• Ensuring all briefs, locations, talent and edit break downs fit the What’s Up TV format

• Liaising with production management to ensure the show is editorially on track and within budget

• Managing social media and providing editorial input into interview & social media edits

• Overseeing end to end delivery of production paperwork

• Casting the contestants for Series 2 of the show

• Creating/ posting casting calls across social media platforms, conducting street casting and targeted casting

•  Filming and editing casting tapes

• Communicating with the show commissioner at ITV to identify the strongest characters

• Creating a strong rapport with the confirmed contestants

• Briefing/ prepping both contestants and celebrities backstage before each taping
